Gastronomic tour on Lake Garda: Tortelli, Wine and Olive Oil

Our gastronomic tour will take you on a journey to Lake Garda, Mantova and Bergamo. An experience at the heart of Italian traditional culinary art.

Accommodation in a selected 4* hotel on the southside of Lake Garda, centrally located and just a few steps from the lake shore.


Day 1 – Arrival

Arrival at your hotel. You will be greeted by our staff. Hotel and tour presentation around a welcome drink. Dinner with a starter and salad buffet and a 3 course-meal menu of your choice.


Day 2Mantova and Borghetto, lunch with our “Tortelli Chef”

After a regenerating breakfast at your hotel, departure by coach to Mantova. Walking tour of the city center and time at leisure. Drive to our agriturismo close to Valeggio sul Mincio. Introduction to the art of the Tortelli production with our “Tortelli Chef”. The guests will have the possibility to try out by themselves.

Lunch with 3 Tortelli types, including home-made cheese and desserts, wine and grappa.

In the afternoon, stroll in the romantic medieval village of Borghetto sul Mincio.

Back at the hotel for a dinner with a starter and salad buffet and a 3 course-meal menu of your choice.


Day 3 – Sirmione and Olive oil Tasting

After breakfast, departure by coach to Sirmione. Upon request, we can organise a boat trip to Sirmione: after a short walk (100 m) to the pier, boat trip to Sirmione along the idyllic peninsula on Lake Garda. 

City tour and time at leisure in the heart of Sirmione. Drive to one of the best Olive oil producers on Lake Garda. The guests will get the chance to taste the classic Extra Vergine Olive oil and 12 different flavoured Olive oils, followed by a light lunch with wine and Limoncello. 

Back at the hotel in the afternoon. Dinner with a starter and salad buffet and a 3 course-meal menu of your choice.


Day 4 – Bergamo and Wine tasting in Franciacorta

After breakfast, departure by coach to Bergamo. We take the funicular to the “Città Alta”. Walking tour to Piazza Vecchia and visit of the Cathedral. Time at leisure in the city center before taking the funicular back to the coach in the Lower town. Drive to the Franciacorta vineyards, the land of the renowned Franciacorta sparkling wine, produced after the traditional Method champenoise. Tour of one of the best wineries including Franciacorta tasting and light lunch in an extraordinary setting between antique wine barrels. 

Back to the hotel. Dinner with a starter and salad buffet and a 3 course-meal menu of your choice.


Day 5 – Free time or “3 Lakes” day excursion (Lake Idro, Ledro and Garda including  Riva, Limone and Malcesine)

Breakfast Buffet at the hotel. 

Happy Hour on the terrace overlooking Lake Garda. Drinks and Appetizers.

Dinner menu featuring local specialities. 


Day 6 – Departure

Breakfast at the hotel and departure.
